Christmas Song

May the Light be born in you

For I know the Light

Shall be born in me.

In the nest of Solitude,

I embrace ultimate togetherness.

Solitude?

What a mesmerizing idea,

Can you really be alone?

Squirrels, grass, bushes, birds

Singing the everlasting song.

May the Light be born in you

For I know the Light

Shall be born in me.

Unbound,

Love triumphs in the act of giving,

Like a door that only opens towards the outside.

Love shatters anything that is not it,

Unmaking the lie, unveiling the truth,

In spite of all the obstacles we create,

It triumphs: surrender and will become one.

May the Light be born in you

For I know the Light

Shall be born in me.

In the glint of tears,

Tears of freedom,

Tears of understanding,

Tears of love,

Washing away the unnecessary,

Making space for the gift

Of a newborn Child.

For the Light shall be

Within you and within me.
